QuickAuth for Shopware 6

A forgotten password doesn’t have to cost you an order.

Login without a password for checkout and customer accounts in Shopware 6.

Customers receive a login code by email or SMS, enter it with one tap or click, log in at checkout and continue with their order. Password login remains available.

Remove hurdles from login.

  • Keep checkout moving after a forgotten password

Customers log in with a login code and continue with their order.

  • No detour through a login link

Customers enter the login code in the browser tab they already use. Their cart and checkout stay in place.

  • Add to your existing login

Email login codes use your shop's normal email setup. Password login remains available, and SMS delivery is optional.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need an SMS provider?

No. In "Email only" mode, your shop sends the login code through its normal email setup and hides the mobile number field. SMS is optional through commercewerk SMS, Twilio or Vonage.

  • Does password login stay?

Yes. Customers can switch to the password in the form at any time. Email login starts with the login code by default; you can restore the password-first flow.

  • What changes at checkout?

The login form appears on the checkout registration page and the account login page. After login, the normal Shopware checkout continues.

  • Which text can I customise?

Edit the button, helper line and password link as snippets for each language. You can also edit the SMS sender and message, legal text and email template.

  • Can I restrict SMS login?

Yes. Choose the allowed countries and limit SMS to mobile numbers already linked to a customer account.

  • What data does QuickAuth process?

For email delivery, QuickAuth uses the customer's email address. For SMS, the mobile number goes to your chosen provider for delivery. Linked mobile numbers stay in the customer account. The extension stores the encrypted secret used to generate single-use login codes. It is removed after a successful login.

  • What happens on uninstall?

With Shopware's "Keep user data" option, the data remains. Without it, the extension removes its login codes, linked mobile numbers, pending links, flow and email template.
