SHOPWARE 6 EXTENSION · IN THE STORE SINCE 08.07.2026
Post-Purchase Cross-Selling & Upselling
More revenue after the purchase: customers accept an add-on offer with one click – no second checkout.
In campaigns you define what triggers an add-on offer – specific products, for example. When a completed order contains a trigger, the extension automatically shows the customer the offer page – before the order confirmation page.
The flow
What the customer experiences
- 01
Order as always
The customer completes the order as usual.
- 02
One offer, straight after
A dedicated offer page shows exactly one matching offer – with the product and a visible price.
- 03
Accept or decline
The customer decides right on the offer page – the offer is accepted with one click.
- 04
The same order, updated
After a successful acceptance, the add-on item and the recalculated total appear in the same order – the updated order confirmation arrives by email.
Why after the purchase?
The decision has just been made.
Right after ordering, your customer is still in the shop and has just decided – on paid PayPal orders the amount has already been collected. That is exactly where the extension shows a single matching offer – and protects both outcomes.
- On declineIf the customer declines, their order remains unchanged – they see their order confirmation page, as always.
- On successful acceptanceIf they accept successfully, the add-on item is added to the same order – with no second checkout.

The dialogue
Six questions, answered in the open.
- Does this work with every payment method?
Open standard payment methods (invoice, prepayment, cash on delivery, direct debit) → the add-on item joins the existing order. Supported SwagPayPal paths → a silent recharge or a short confirmation. Unsupported payment methods → no offer.
- What happens if an acceptance is not completed technically?
With open payment methods the item is simply added to the open order – nothing is collected. With PayPal payments the order is only updated after a successful capture; if the update then fails, the extension automatically attempts a compensating refund – we document the full exception sequence openly.
- How does the customer confirm the paid add-on item?
The customer sees the add-on item with the product and a visible price; the button states the exact amount – for example "Add AirPods for €110.49". Where the payment method requires its own confirmation step, it follows directly – inspect the interface yourself in the demo shop.
- How do I measure usage and added revenue?
Administration counts Shown, Accepted and Added revenue per campaign and sales channel. Whether that carries the €99 per month plus VAT is your own margin calculation – we do not promise an acceptance rate.
- The order grows after checkout – what if my fulfilment system has already picked it up?
The add-on item is added to the same order – what matters is when your ERP or fulfilment exports the order. The go-live checklist walks through export timing and time windows before the first campaign.
- Why are there no reviews yet?
The extension has been available in the Shopware Store since 8 July 2026. Until public reviews exist, verify the flow yourself in the demo shop – no sign-in required.
Campaigns & measurement
Your team controls which order sees which offer.
Administration brings together selection rules, offer design and real outcomes – down to the order detail of the same order. We do not promise an acceptance rate; you measure with your own orders.
